Frequently Asked Questions????

Requirements of 2013 Cheer Season?

Participants must be 5 to 14 years of age and need to have their Birth Certificate and payment by Aug. 1st during Conditioning Week. I can not allow them to practice with out these requirements.

Registration dues?

Registration is $160 for 2013 Cheer and Uniform deposit is $200 at the time of issusing Cheer Uniforms. Uniform deposits will not be cashed unless Complete Uniforms are turned in at end of the season.

Registration Deadline is TBD...Any sign ups after July will have a late charge added to the Registration total!!

Practice(s) and Game(s)?

Practices are Everyday August TBD

Game(s) schedule will not be ready until Beginning of September.

***Please note: Game Day is at "Givens" Home Field...We do not travel to other Fields unless we are going to Championships. ***

Championship(s) will be determined in October/November.. Dates and Times (TBD)

Cheer Squads?

There are Three (3) Cheer Squads: Marron, Grey and White. Each Squad is from ages 5-14. Siblings are on the same squad usually. We try and keep them together to shorten your travel and save on gas.

Playing other Sports or School Events?

I am pretty open minded and understand that families have school events or other sport obligation(s). Please contact me if you have any question(s). Please keep in mind that this is a Team Sport and We need our Cheerleaders to support the SKPW Football teams on Game Days, Championship and overall SKPW Events.

Dress Code for Cheer?

During the month of August, Please come in Breathable Shorts and T-shirts especially if it is very sunny and hot. Keep in Mind NO SwimSuit tops!!!

September and October Weather here in Washington is unpredicable... Sweatpants, Leggings, T-shirt and Sweater are fine to wear. Please do not wear Jeans or tight pants...your child will not have the ability to move around as easily.

Cheer Shoes are to be purchased at CheerandPom.com. Please get the youth Converse Dismounts. They are usually only $25.00 plus tax. The description of the Shoes are White High Top with a Marron Star on the side. (Star on side of shoe comes with other colors that you can change but we only use the Marron Color). Shoes run roughly 2 sizes to small.
